The City Clerk's Office maintains official city records, supports City Council and Commission proceedings, manages public records requests, posts legal notices, and supports city elections.

The City Clerk handles all public records requests under the Idaho Public Records Act (Title 74, Chapter 1). Requests are typically responded to within 3 business days, with up to 10 additional days for unusually large requests as allowed by state law.
