Pets found in Ammon are taken to the Snake River Animal Shelter in Idaho Falls. Start there if your pet is missing or you've found a pet without an owner.

Required annually for all dogs

All dogs kept within the City of Ammon are required to be licensed. Any person having more than three dogs must apply for a Additional Dog Permit. Licenses expire December 31 each year.
Animal Services Fees
Current fees for dog licenses, additional dog permits, and related services are published in the City of Ammon's most recent fee resolution. Fees are reviewed and updated periodically by the City Council.
