Elected Officials
The City of Ammon is governed by a Mayor and a six-member City Council under a Strong Mayor form of government. The Mayor serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is a part-time position. The City Council President is elected among Council members at the beginning of each calendar year.

Voter Eligibility
To vote in Ammon city elections, you must be:

A resident of the State of Idaho for at least 30 days prior to Election Day
Voter Registration
Idaho allows same-day voter registration at polling locations. You may also register in advance through the Bonneville County Elections Office or online through the Idaho Secretary of State.
