About Our Law Enforcement Partnership
The City of Ammon maintains a contract with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, which provides dedicated deputies who patrol Ammon’s neighborhoods, respond to calls for service, and work closely with the community. This arrangement ensures residents receive full-spectrum law enforcement coverage—from routine traffic enforcement to criminal investigations—backed by the county’s dispatch center, jail facilities, and specialized units.
What to Report
Crimes in Progress
Call 911 immediately for any emergency or active crime.
Non-Emergency Concerns
Call (208) 529-1200 for noise complaints, suspicious activity, parking violations, property crimes that are not in progress, or general questions.
Traffic Accidents
Call 911 for accidents with injuries. For minor fender-benders with no injuries, call non-emergency dispatch.
Animal Complaints
Contact Ammon Animal Services at (208) 612-4072 for stray or aggressive animals. For after-hours animal emergencies, call dispatch at (208) 529-1200.
Vehicle Recovery
If your vehicle has been towed or impounded, contact Public Safety Dispatch at (208) 529-1200 to locate your vehicle and learn about retrieval procedures.
